This inspection was performed upon the request of the client listed above on January 23rd 2009 while the vessel was on a trailer at XXXX San Diego, CA 92106.

Bilge: Holding minimal water

Comments: The vessel was inspected on a trailer. The hull was visually inspected and randomly sounded. The vessel is in excellent structural and good cosmetic condition. There are minor stains (small black spots) on the inflatable tubes. The vessel/hull was apparently manufactured in 2003 and is a 2005 model year. The selling dealer states that the vessel is owned by another dealer (Downwind Marine) it was never used and never sold. The vessel comes with all original warranties. Warranty information is beyond the scope of this survey.

MACHINE SYSTEMS

Main engine: 90-hp Yamaha outboard, model F90TLR

Engine application: Gasoline, outboard, 4-cylinders, 4-stroke

Engine controls: Push/pull cables, single lever remote (Yamaha 703)

Exhaust systems: N/A

Propulsion gear/shaft logs: 19K 3-blade stainless steel RH propeller

Steering system/rudder ports: Outboard engine application, mechanical system

Bilge pump: One electric pump aft (not accessed)

Comments: The engine was visually inspected only. It has never been run by the dealer and it was not run at the time of survey. It will reportedly come with all new factory warranties. The engine appears to be in excellent condition. The bilge pump was energized with a toggle switch.

TANKAGE

Fuel: Two plastic tanks under midship passenger seats, 2 x 65 liters

Fill & vent: Not visible

Feed: Flexible fuel grade hose, Racor filter

Comments: There is very limited access to the two plastic fuel tanks. Where visible they appear excellent.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

DC system: 12-volt wet cell battery in secure, covered box, battery switch by battery, 12-volt system

Wiring: Multi-strand wires

Comments: The bilge pump, courtesy lights and navigational lights were tested. They functioned normally. The condition of the battery is beyond the scope of this inspection.

Comments: No safety components are currently aboard. The navigational and all around lights are properly functional.

SUMMARY

The vessel is a production fiberglass hulled inflatable runabout. The vessel appears structurally and mechanically sound. The vessel is in new condition. The vessel is well suited for its use as a protected waters runabout.
